Rod and Damaris love Jesus! Their passion for Christ and for the gospel runs deep. They are true servants and lovers of the Lord and of His people. Any time I am around them, I am drawn irresistibly into the presence of God. His Spirit is evident in their lives and ministry in an unusual way.

Trust & Obey
01/20/2010
The more I live the more I understand that a victorious Christian is an obedient Christian. So many people think that it’s just a matter of believing that Jesus is who He says He is. Well, like the scriptures say, even demons believe that and they’re still demons! So, what’s the missing ingredient? Why so many defeated Christians? (more…)
How to pray for us
01/07/2010
From time to time Dámaris and I hear those extremely comforting words, “We have been praying for you.” Sometimes they come from friends, sometimes from people that we have never met. There is no way to measure the benefits that we have received from those prayers, as the Lord has either protected us, prospered us, or simply kept our luggage on the same flight.
Knowing that the Lord hears all of our prayers, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him (Heb 11:6), we feel that some of you would be glad to pray for us, if you knew (more…)
Attention All Wives of Godly Men!!
01/07/2010
I know that there may be quite a number of women who read my blogs that might be married to an unsaved man. In the third chapter of Peter’s first letter, he gives us very clear instruction for that scenario. However my words in this blog are for those of you who have a godly husband.
My husband, after the Lord Jesus Christ of course, is the best thing that ever happened to me. I’ve said this many times in concert. I say it to him when (more…)
Prayer Week at MGT
01/04/2010
Hey folks, our church, Manhattan Grace Tabernacle, is bringing in the New Year with a week of prayer. Although most of you won’t be able to come to NYC to join us, you can pray with us for wisdom, guidance and power from the Lord in 2010. We sure need it!
All of the meetings, Monday through Thursday, will be held in our church office at 2929 Broadway, 5th Floor. We will NOT be in our regular location on Wednesday night, PS38, but in the office.
Pray with us!
