I love her heart, I love her passion and I love her music. Every time I work with her, I am convicted that I am in the presence of one who loves Jesus most of all. I enjoy her…I love her…if you meet her, you will too!

Dámaris had a conversation with Audrey Altman, Host of “Fresh Start” on Moody Radio South Florida, 89.3 about the home going of our dear friend, Calvin Hunt. Moody Radio plays a lot of Calvin’s and Damaris’s music, and Audrey asked Dámaris to (more…)
Even so, come, Lord Jesus

There are a lot of things that I don’t finish on time. For some years now, however, my Bible, His holy manuscript, the inerrant, inspired, awesome Word of God, is not one of those things. Calvin Hunt has been promoted

Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints (Ps 116:15). Calvin Hunt, a gospel singing evangelist, has been called home this morning. Dámaris and I loved Calvin, who was always ready to give his testimony about how Jesus Christ saved him from a vicious crack addiction. His singing with The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and BT Singers, The Christ Tabernacle Choir and his own solo CDs always pointed us to the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ.
Calvin joined Dámaris in a duet on the title song on her CD, “Giving My Life Away,” and he also joined her recording that same song on her live CD/DVD, Live, Not Ashamed.
Calvin succumbed to the cancer in his lung at 4:30am, today, Dec. 26th, 2009. We are praying for Miriam, their children Mia and Calvin, Jr., and the grandchildren which they are raising.

Jay Leach is a wonderful Christian guitarist. As a top LA studio musician for years, Jay has played for everyone who is anyone in popular music. You may have seen him playing in the band of American Idol.
Jay played for Dámaris in a concert in the Church on the Way a couple of years ago. What a kind and sweet man.
Here is a wonderful rendition of “Do You Hear What I Hear?”
