Nicky in the Street at Manhattan Grace

Trust me, you have never heard anyone like Nicky Cruz. He was the head of the Mau Mau gang in NYC fifty years ago, and his thrills were to see people beg him for their life. A very unlikely preacher from Pennsylvania, David Wilkerson came to the city to preach in the street, and Nicky gave his heart to Christ. Dámaris’s mother was at that service.
Nicky went to Bible school, and since then, he has been all over the world preaching the love of Christ and seeing hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of lives changed. They made a movie about his conversion and his life starring a young Eric Estrada (CHIPS) called, “The Cross and the Switchblade.” His gang days no doubt inspired “West Side Story.”
He goes back with my wife’s family for most of that time, and he is going to be speaking in the street for us on Sunday at 1p. You and your family will not only enjoy it, but you will never forget it. He is a powerful and compassionate man of God. If you can get to NYC this weekend, come. I am always inspired by your love for Christ and work for the kingdom. Regardless of what is going on, we continue to lift your name to Christ. We have been busy ministering to clients and praising God for the lives He has touched. During the month of June we saw a record number of 51 and many also returned for Bible study. To God be the glory!
Our little one is getting ready for school, but we are praying for your health and your children. I read about Calvin Hunt and we are so sorry and we know that God loves him more. We have two verses for you noted in Isaiah’s prophecy and two are written in the Psalms.
“For I will pour water upon him that is thristy, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my Spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring.” Isaiah 44:3
“And all your children shall be taught by the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children.” Isaiah 54:13.
“The children of thy servants shall continue and their seed shall be established before thee. Psalm 102:28
This verse is for your health: “Many are the afflictions of the righteous; but the Lors delivers him out of them all. Psalm 34.19.
The Lord be with you and your spirit.
