In a two part series in a women’s conference in Georgia, Dámaris spoke of how we are to love the Lord, and how it evidences itself in knowing Him through His word, and obeying Him.

Loving God

In a women’s conference at Shelter Rock Church in Syosset, NY, Dámaris not only explains how the Bible challenges us to love God, but why. Weaving her testimony into Psalm 119, Deuteronomy and 1st John, we see that God commands us to love Him, but only after He has delivered us from the slavery of sin and given us more than we could ever hope for.

What Does Your Faith Look Like

In a Georgia state-wide women’s conference, Dámaris gave two keynote sessions. On Friday night, she used her testimony to challenge the women that the Lord is worthy of more. Then in the Saturday morning session Dámaris taught on the faith of Abraham and the Syrophoenician woman in Mark, and the importance of reading the Word of God. Weaving life stories into her messages, she challenges us to examine our trust in the all-knowing and all-loving God, wisely accept correction, and pursue the gifts that He has given us that make us unique.

“The Two Sides of Jealousy”

Did you know that there is a good jealousy in the Bible?  We all know the bad, destructive side of jealousy, but how can there be a good side?  Listen as Dámaris points out the righteous jealousy for God that David had, and then reveals some very personal difficulties that she has been through.  The Lord can change anyone.

“If You Love Me…”

In order to really love God, you need to know how much He loves you. In her own inimitable way, even drawing from stories of her high school flames, Dámaris teaches about God’s unfathomable love for us, and our undeniable directive to love Him, followed by willing obedience. As you continue to get to know God, you will not only love Him more, but it will evidenced in obedience. Jesus said “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” John 14:15

What is the Attitude of Your Faith?

At First Alliance Church in Erie, PA, Dámaris was invited to do a mini-women’s conference. Her message was about faith: what it should look like and how to get more of it.

The Syro-Phoenician Woman is an example of great faith with tremendous humility. And even though the disciples themselves tried to dismiss her, she did not give up. Her desperation and tenacity moved Jesus to act on her behalf.

Can You Love Someone If You Do Not Know Them?

We are commanded to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” (Mark 12:30 NIV) But can you love Him if you don’t know Him? How does one know God? Dámaris gives a practical discussion on knowing God through His Word.

Are You a Christian?

Filling in the Manhattan Grace Tabernacle pulpit while Pastor Rivera was traveling, Dámaris speaks on Jesus’s parable of the seeds that fell on the four types of soil. Only the seed that fell on good soil bore fruit. Being a Christian is not joining the “Good People’s Club,” but rather repenting and obeying God’s word until the end.

Live in the Word

After we returned from our whirlwind evangelistic tour of Mexico and Central America, it is even more evident to us that we are not more triumphant and useable for the Kingdom of God because we do not fill ourselves with the Word of Life. Dámaris encourages us to live in the Word like never before.

My Testimony and Mercy

At the last minute, Jill Briscoe had to cancel her engagement to speak to pastor’s wives in the Philadelphia area. Dámaris was scheduled to sing, but the sponsor of the event, WFIL Christian Radio, asked her to speak, too. She combined her testimony and applied it to the mercy that God has for us from James 2:13.

What Do We Do As We Get Older?(Psalm 92)

The wicked come and go, but the righteous man will flourish! The psalmist says that we should yield fruit, even as we get old. What is our purpose? To declare that the Lord is upright, our Rock and that there is no unrighteousness in Him. Be encouraged as Dámaris takes us through Psalm 92 verse by verse.
