Rod and Damaris love Jesus! Their passion for Christ and for the gospel runs deep. They are true servants and lovers of the Lord and of His people. Any time I am around them, I am drawn irresistibly into the presence of God. His Spirit is evident in their lives and ministry in an unusual way.

Jesus is Better
03/04/2010
Hebrews chapters 6-8 use the term “better” or “more excellent” at least six times in discussing how much better the New Covenant with Jesus Christ is than the Old Covenant of the Law. With all of its sacrifices, bulls, goats, lambs, grain, turtle doves, the Law could never make someone new or born again. Jesus Christ, the perfect and final sacrifice, is the BETTER way that God provided for those who believe in His name.

Damaris,
Thank you so much for sharing this with us. We all need a reminder of who Christ is, and that because of what He did for us at the cross we can draw near to Him and find grace, mercy, and peace and so much more. May the Lord fill you with all joy and peace as you continue ministering to others.
In Christ,
Regina
