Rod and Damaris love Jesus! Their passion for Christ and for the gospel runs deep. They are true servants and lovers of the Lord and of His people. Any time I am around them, I am drawn irresistibly into the presence of God. His Spirit is evident in their lives and ministry in an unusual way.

Giving My Life Away in Argentina
05/01/2010
Dámaris, Ashley and I are having a wonderful time of ministry and fellowship here at Palabra de Vida (Word of Life) in San Miguel de Monte, Argentina. Last night, we did an evangelistic concert with about a thousand people in their new Jack Wyrtzen auditorium. After Dámaris sang, Dr. Joe Jordan preached an evangelistic message and dozens of people came forward to receive Christ. It is a thrill to be a part of people making the most important decision in their life–to follow Jesus Christ!
This afternoon, we will do another concert, which is expected to be even more people, including a busload from the “ghetto” in Buenos Aires, which is one of the worst areas. Today, May 1, is a holiday all across Latin America, akin to Labor Day. We are praying that many more will come to hear music, and will leave with Christ in their hearts.
Ashley sang “Giving My Life Away” with Dámaris. It is a rare treat to have her sing with her mom, and especially rare to have her here in the country that God used so powerfully to show Dámaris what He wanted for her life.

Hi Damaris,
I pray for you all the time. God has given you such a wonderful gift and tool with which to serve Him and reach the lost for Christ. I am so glad that I’ve met you, your ministry has made a difference in my life, and I know that you are a blessing to all who have heard you this weekend. Thank you for sharing how God has used you this weekend to bring so many people to Himself. I will be praying for all of those who are coming from the ghetto, that they will have changed hearts after hearing Damaris present the gospel in such a beautiful way.
I also know that as you bless others, the Lord will reward with rich blessings back to you, and to have Ashley sing with you I’m sure is a wonderful treasure. Thank you for loving our Lord the way you do, and teaching us how to love Him more. May the Lord continue to use you in a mighty way, and may you continue to enjoy His richest blessings.
With Love in Christ,
Regina
